Samsung has announced a new series of Galaxy S25 flagships that will be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, on 22 January. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones are expected to be revealed, as well as the fourth Galaxy S25 Slim model, which will make its first appearance in the Galaxy S lineup. Its existence is confirmed by the Geekbench benchmark.

Here's What We Know

The device with the model number SM-S937U, which is presumably the Galaxy S25 Slim (the official name may differ) was spotted on the Geekbench platform. The benchmark test revealed that the smartphone will be powered by the same chip as the mainstream models - Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. However, according to the benchmark test, the smartphone's multi-core performance will be understated when compared to the mainstream models.

Geekbench also revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim will have 12GB of RAM and will run Android 15 with One UI 7.0. The smartphone is expected to be very slim, with a thickness of around 6.x mm.

Other rumoured specs include a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, a triple camera on the back with a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The device's battery will have a capacity of between 4,700 and 5,000 mAh.

The Galaxy S25 Slim will be a smaller version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but without S-Pen support, something users have long been asking for.
