Insta360 announces the release of new products on 16 January
Insta360 has announced the release date of its next product, which will take place on 16 January 2025 at 13:00 UTC. Although the company has not disclosed all the details of the upcoming product, leaks already make it clear that it is about new stabilisers for cameras - Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro.
Here's What We Know
This announcement comes two months after the X4 action camera was updated and received a new, more expensive BMW Motorrad Edition. In the new teaser, Insta360 does not say what specific products will be presented, but based on previous leaks, we can already make several assumptions.
In November 2024, one of the largest British retailers posted a full description of the Flow 2 stabiliser on its website, which was the first confirmation that the product actually exists. Other leaks, including an Insta360 video, hint at improved stabilisation with new features for more professional use.
The main feature of the new stabilisers will be improved object tracking technology. In the teaser, the company mentioned the "Deep Track 4.0" feature, which uses artificial intelligence to track people and objects. It also supports automatic zooming and can recognise faces. In addition, Insta360 announced a new 360-degree "infinite pan" feature that will provide smooth and continuous panoramas.
Insta360 is expected to provide more details during the official presentation on 16 January. After the announcement, the company plans to share additional information, including the price and exact launch date for the new models.
