Casio may release a limited edition DW-6900TR for the 30th anniversary in 1995 colours
This week, new information has emerged about the upcoming release of a special model of Casio G-Shock watches dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the DW-6900 series.
Here's What We Know
The DW-6900TR model, which is rumoured to restore the original colours in which the watch was released in 1995: black (DW-6900TR-1), red (DW-6900TR-4) and yellow (DW-6900TR-9).
The yellow version of this model has a special significance, as it was very popular among street fashion fans in the United States in the 1990s and earned the nickname "Slasher". For this edition, Casio has chosen a white LED back with the inscription "Since 1995", which reminds us of the year of the watch's release and adds a special atmosphere and historical significance to it.
Like the previous models in the DW-6900 series, the new versions are likely to retain the legendary shock-resistant design and water resistance to 200 metres. These watches are also expected to feature a full automatic calendar, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second and a countdown timer.
