Here's What We Know
First, the SBU drones overwhelmed Russian air defences. After that, the facility was hit by a Neptune missile.
"Reconnaissance drones were also stored there. It was a joint operation of the Ukrainian Navy and the SBU," the sources said.
The Ukrainian military-industrial complex produced more than 100 missile weapons in 2024. One of the most successful projects is the P-360 Neptune cruise missile.

The adaptation of the Neptune anti-ship missile to hit ground targets became known in April 2023. At that time, Ukrainian designers were working on a modification of the missile, which later gained a maximum range of 400 km and a combat weight of 350 kg.
The new version of the missile is equipped with a satellite positioning system for guidance during the flight's marching phase and an infrared homing system for the final section. In December 2023, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk, confirmed the information about the missile upgrade.
