A stylus you won't lose: ESR has unveiled a low-cost Geo Digital Pencil for iPad with Find My support
ESR has unveiled the Geo Digital Pencil stylus for current iPad models.
Here's What We Know
The device will be an affordable analogue of the expensive Apple Pencil and will cost only $30.
Geo Digital Pencil connects to iPad via Bluetooth and is perfect for writing and drawing. The device attaches to the iPad with a magnet and charges via the USB-C port.
The stylus is tilt and pressure sensitive and has several additional buttons.
Another undoubted advantage of Geo Digital Pencil will be support for Find My technology, which will allow you to track the location of the gadget even without a direct Bluetooth connection. The service will prompt the last location of the stylus and an audible signal will indicate the approach to the lost device.
The manufacturer claims compatibility of Geo Digital Pencil:
- with 11-inch iPad Pro models;
- with third-generation iPad Air and newer;
- with 12.9-inch iPad Pro third generation and later;
- iPad mini 5 and later;
- iPad 6 and later.
