The Lithuanian Defence Minister announced that this week Ukraine will receive 4,500 drones, which will also be used by the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The drones are manufactured by Dangolakis, RSI Europe, Ltmiltech, Granta Autonomy and Unmanned Defence Systems.

Here's What We Know

The drones are delivered in a fully assembled form, which reduces the time required to prepare for combat conditions. Ukraine has previously tested these drones in conditions as close to combat as possible.

The Lithuanian government has also introduced an accelerated procedure for the transfer of state property, which ensures the rapid delivery of military aid.

In addition to Ukraine, more than 2,300 of these drones will be transferred to the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The total purchase price is €3 million.

It is worth recalling that earlier it was reported that Ukraine would receive 30,000 FPV drones from the UK and other NATO member states. The contracts for their purchase, worth a total of £45 million, will be concluded within the framework of the international Drone Coalition.

Funding comes from the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, Latvia and Sweden. The British government has noted that modern FPV drones will allow Ukraine to more effectively counter Russian aggression by targeting the occupiers' positions and armoured vehicles.
