The Oscars have been rescheduled again due to the Los Angeles wildfires: what has changed this time?

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced changes to its Oscar schedule(again) due to the devastating wildfires that are raging in Los Angeles, home to about 60% of the Academy's approximately 10,000 members.
Here's What We Know
Academy CEO Bill Kramer and President Janet Yang have confirmed that the 97th Academy Awards will remain scheduled for Sunday, 2 March 2025. However, the voting and nomination announcement dates have changed:
- The voting window has been extended to 17 January.
- The nominations will be announced on 23 January.
- The luncheon for nominees scheduled for 10 February has been cancelled.
Four Academy governors lost their homes in the fires but continue to work on organising events. The Academy has already donated $750,000 to help the victims.
Kramer and Young expressed their condolences to all those affected by the disaster and stressed the importance of community support during this difficult time.
