As we already know officially, Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy S25 series at the Unpacked event on 22 January. The teaser of the event, which shows the angles of the four smartphones, hints that four devices - Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra and the all-new Galaxy S25 Slim (presumably the name) - could be unveiled. However, according to the latest rumours from China, the Galaxy S25 Slim model won't arrive until May 2025.

Here's What We Know

The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be just 6.5mm thick and feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with over 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. According to the latest leaks, the smartphone will get a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and a 4,700 to 5,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy S25 Slim will fall between the Plus and Ultra models in terms of size.

It's not yet clear whether the May release of the device only applies to the Chinese market or the global market. More details will be available at the Unpacked event on 22 January.
