Škoda sold almost one million cars in 2024
Škoda Auto ended 2024 with a sales result of 926,600 vehicles. The Czech carmaker was able to improve its result compared to 2023 by 6.9 per cent despite the "difficult market situation", according to the company's press release.
Here's What We Know
Germany remained the largest market for Škoda, with 187,100 vehicles sold - 29,200 more units than in 2023. Other key markets also showed significant growth:

- UK: 78,700 units (+8,400 units);
- Poland: 61,400 units (+7,500 units);

Demand for the all-electric Enyaq also remained strong with a sales result of 79,500 units, despite increasing competition and a slowdown in industry demand for all-electric vehicles. This EV model secured leading sales positions in several key European markets and was the second best-selling electric vehicle in Germany with more than 25,000 units sold.
Škoda's plans for 2025
The year 2025 will see the full-scale launch of new Škoda models. Alongside the new Enyaq, which premiered at the beginning of January 2025, production of the all-electric compact crossover Elroq with a starting price of around €33,000 will soon begin.
In India, sales of the new localised Škoda Kylaq model will start. Škoda is also preparing to start vehicle assembly at its newly built plant in Vietnam. Initially, production will be centred on the Kushaq, and then the production of the Indian Slavia model will be mastered there.
