Apple introduces new beta versions of iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 with HomeKit support for robotic vacuum cleaners for developers

Apple has provided developers with the third beta versions of the upcoming iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 updates for testing. The new release came a week after the second beta versions were released.

The iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 updates are available for download via the Settings app on compatible devices. To do this, go to the General → Software Update section. Apple has also released a new beta version of visionOS 2.3, which can be downloaded from the Settings app on Vision Pro.
These updates do not contain new Apple Intelligence features and have a limited number of changes. The focus is on bug fixes. However, iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 are expected to bring support for HomeKit robotic vacuum cleaners.
As for Siri, Apple Intelligence updates are expected in iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, which will be released after iOS 18.3. According to preliminary information, the release of new software is scheduled for the end of January.
On 7 January 2025, Apple presented the second beta version of iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 updates for developers to test. These updates come three weeks after the first beta version was released. Along with iOS 18.2.1, the company also released iPadOS 18.2.1 for iPad. Other devices, including the Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, Vision Pro, and HomePod, did not receive updates this time.
Apple recently released the iOS 18.2.1 update for all iPhone users. It comes less than a month after the release of iOS 18.2, which brought new Apple Intelligence features.
