Pixar Animation Studios has unveiled the full trailer for its first original series, Win or Lose, which will debut on Disney+ on 19 February. The series tells the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they prepare for the big softball championship game.

Here's What We Know

"I used to play softball as a kid," says Carrie Hobson, who wrote and executive produced the series with Michael Yates. "Inspired by this experience, we thought fastpitch softball would be the perfect backdrop for the show. There are so many facets to the sport that I love - it can bring out the best and worst in people."

Michael Yates added that the idea of highlighting different perspectives came from everyday life at Pixar. "Kerry and I were colleagues on Toy Story 4, and we always had different reactions to the same events," he said.

Each episode shows events from the perspective of different characters, including children, their parents and an umpire, allowing viewers to see how the same situation is perceived in different ways. Win or Lose explores the themes of friendship, competition and the emotional experiences that arise during the game and promises to be both hilarious and moving.
