Reasonable and fair: analysts have named the optimal cost of the Nintendo Switch 2
The Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been unveiled.
Gamers were shown what the console will look like, its main features, dimensions, ports, updated controllers and even the first footage of the as yet untitled Mario Kart game. But two open questions remain: when the Switch 2 will be available for sale and how much it will cost.

Nintendo is in no hurry to answer these questions, but IGN journalists interviewed reputable analysts and they gave an almost unequivocal answer: it's unlikely that Switch 2 will cost more than $400.
Dr Serkan Toto of Kantan Games Inc. called $400 "the price necessary for success", stressing that such a price would be optimal. Joost van Dreunen of the Super Joost newsletter agrees.
Mat Piscatella and Piers Harding-Rolls also cited $400 and said that such a price tag is unlikely to deter the most eager buyers.
Reece Elliot from MIDiA agreed that $ 400 - is the "golden mean" for Nintendo, but admits that due to high demand and a possible shortage of devices at the start of the price may be understood to $ 500 dollars with a subsequent systematic decline.
Recall that earlier this week, gamers posted screenshots from the Discord server "Nintendo Switch 2", which shows the messages of a user under the nickname DoNotDisturb. According to him, he was informed by a Micromania employee who assured that "Nintendo Switch 2 will be unveiled very soon" (it was) and that the Rumour: Nintendo Switch 2 will cost 399 euros, with a launch lineup of 25 games.
