Garmin beta update version 13.07 is now available for Venu 3, Venu 3s and Vivoactive 5 smartwatches. The update improves the functions of the Run Coach running and Cycling Coach cycling training apps.

Here's What We Know

The software also adds support for the latest apps and watch faces.

Garmin announces that beta version 13.07 is now available for download on the Venu 3, Venu 3s, and Vivoactive 5. This is the first beta release in the 13.xx testing cycle, coming shortly after the 12.12 stable update.

An important novelty is the improvement of Garmin Run Coach and Garmin Cycling Coach training plans. Last year, the company replaced the original Garmin Coach with these two versions. With the latest update, these personalised training plans now include strength training exercises alongside running or cycling workouts to improve results.

The update also provides additional information about the type of connection for the sensors used with the watch. Additionally, this smartwatch now supports the latest Connect IQ apps, watch faces, and customisable data fields that display important information during your workouts, such as heart rate, speed, distance, and other metrics.

How To Switch It On

To start the installation process, go to the main menu Settings, System, Software update. If you want to join the beta programme, you can sign up through Garmin Connect.
