A blogger has revealed what the new camera interface will look like in iOS 19

Jon Prosser, a blogger known for his leaks about Apple, shared on his Front Page Tech YouTube channel the news about the upcoming iOS 19 update. According to him, the new camera app will be significantly redesigned and will borrow design elements from VisionOS, the operating system for Apple's Vision Pro.
Here's What We Know
He didn't reveal the original interface changes, perhaps keeping his source secret, but recreated them with his team on animated renders and showed them in his video.
The new camera interface will reportedly feature translucent menus, making the viewfinder larger and more immersive. Instead of multiple switches, the new design will keep things simple by leaving two main options at the bottom, Photo and Video. Tapping on each category will open up a set of related settings such as aspect ratio, depth, styles, exposure and timers, while resolution and frame rate settings will now be hidden at the top of the screen.

Last year, it was reported that such changes were supposed to appear in iOS 18, but that didn't happen. Perhaps these changes were not ready for the iOS 18 release and the new Camera interface will be finalised and appear in iOS 19. It is also expected that the interface of other iOS 19 apps will also be redesigned in the style of Apple Vision Pro. However, this is still unconfirmed information and more details about this will be revealed later.
