The "killer" Xiaomi Mi Watch: OnePlus is preparing its first smartwatch
Sources say that OnePlus is preparing to enter the smartwatch market and has been developing its own model for a long time.
What to expect and when
Most likely, the watch will be called OnePlus Watch. It will be powered by the Qualcomm platform (most likely, the new 12-nanometre Snapdragon Wear 3300 processor), at least 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory.
The smartwatch will run the WearOS operating system.
OnePlus Watch is expected to debut alongside the flagships OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in the second quarter of 2020.
By the way, OnePlus was setting up for the watch market a few years ago. The company's CEO even showed sketches, but then the project was decided to be closed.
Perhaps the OnePlus watch will compete with the Xiaomi Mi Watch, which will be presented tomorrow, 5 November.
