Lego is delighting car fans with its first Corvette Stingray C8 set, recreating the iconic mid-engined sports car in Lego Technic style. Featuring 732 parts, the novelty set is aimed at a younger audience as an "introduction to engineering".
Features
- Under the engine cover, you can see a simulated 6.2-litre V8 Stingray engine with moving pistons.
- on the roof is a black wheel that allows the front wheels to turn.
- the front boot and doors open. Inside there are two seats and a steering wheel.
Pros: wide tyres, detailed moving mechanisms, functional elements.
Cons: the general appearance is far from an accurate reproduction of the Corvette.
Who is this kit for?
With a price tag of $59.99, this Lego Technic set is less complex than the more premium models in the series. It's designed for beginners who are just getting familiar with Lego mechanisms and design.
The Corvette Stingray model is already available for pre-order. It will go on sale in March 2025.
