Microsoft is preparing a new model of transparent controller for Xbox - this was reported by authoritative insider billbil-kun, who has repeatedly proved the veracity of his information.

Here's What We Know

According to billbil-kun, Microsoft will continue the Cipher line, the first two devices of which were released in 2024: Sky Cipher was blue, Ghost Cipher - grey-transparent.

The main feature of these controllers is that through the transparent case users can see the "inner world" of the gamepad and how the various mechanisms react to the pressing of buttons.

The new model is expected to be called the Red Cipher and will apparently come in red shades.

billbil-kun expects the company to unveil the Red Cipher by the end of January and it will cost $70.

Taking this opportunity, billbil-kun reminded that Microsoft never revealed details of its own controller codenamed Sebile with support for haptic feedback, the concept of which is reminiscent of Sony's DualSense. Perhaps information about this new product will be revealed soon as well.
