Samsung Galaxy S25 Unpacked 2025: What are the main novelties and where to watch the live broadcast
The next generation of Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones is almost here. The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on 22 January at 1:00 EST in San Jose, California (20:00 Kyiv time), where the company will present the "Next Big Thing".

What exactly will be presented? Apart from several confirmed new products and possible leaks, only those who have signed a confidentiality agreement know all the details. However, we are likely to see three models of Galaxy S25 smartphones: standard, Plus, and Ultra.

Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra

Samsung usually presents its Galaxy S flagships at the first Unpacked event of the year. The event is expected to feature three Galaxy S25 models: S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The design of the new smartphones is likely to be only slightly changed, with rounded corners, smoother edges and thinner bezels. The displays for the S25 and S25+ models remain the same as in the previous generation - 6.2 and 6.7 inches respectively, while the Ultra model will have a slightly larger screen - 6.9 inches.

All Galaxy S25 models are likely to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which supports generative artificial intelligence on the device, in line with Samsung's strategic focus on Galaxy AI in recent models.

It is expected that only the ultra-wide sensor on the Galaxy S25 Ultra will receive an upgrade to 50 MP (from 12 MP in the previous version). In addition, the new models will support the Qi2 wireless charging standard, although MagSafe charging magnets will only be available via an optional case.

There are also rumours that the event will feature the Galaxy Ring 2, an improved version of the fitness bracelet with new sensors and AI functions. The company is also expected to reveal some details of its AR glasses and cooperation with Google and Qualcomm in the development of XR gadgets.

What else.
Galaxy S25 Slim, a version with a slimmer design, may be presented. One UI 7 is a new version of Samsung's operating system that will provide a more intuitive interface and integration with AI functions.
