Code Violet dinosaur game won't be released on PC to prevent players from making mods with a naked heroine
TeamKill Media has announced the horror game Code Violet, which will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 in July 2025. The main surprise was the decision of the developers not to release the game on PC due to the fear of creating "vulgar" modifications.
Here's What We Know
The game, which is positioned as a spiritual successor to Dino Crisis, will tell the story of Violet Sinclair, a girl who finds herself in a scientific complex full of genetically modified dinosaurs. The action will take place in the 25th century, where players will have to explore, hide and fight dangerous animals.
However, TeamKill Media has publicly stated its concerns about the possible sexual modding of characters. "We don't want anyone to create vulgar versions of the main character or other characters," the studio said in an official statement.
The developers emphasised their respect for the actors and their own artistic vision, saying that the additional profits are not worth the potential damage to the project's reputation.
