Rheinmetall has received an order to supply 568 trucks to the German Armed Forces. This was reported by the company's press service.

Here's What We Know

As part of the agreement with the Bundeswehr, vehicles for army logistics will be supplied in the amount of more than 330 million euros. This will include 349 UTF trucks (5 tonne and 15 tonne versions) and 219 trucks with a variable body, 121 of which will have a protected driver's cab.

Delivery of the UTF trucks is scheduled for 2026, and the cabover trucks are to be delivered by November 2025. This order is part of a framework agreement signed in July 2024 to supply up to 6,500 trucks with a total value of up to €3.5 billion between 2024 and 2031.

Currently, the German Armed Forces use more than 15,000 military trucks, most of which are made by Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles GmbH (RMMV).

The order was the largest in the history of the German Ministry of Defence, and the company's products are also actively supplied to NATO countries.
