The Oppo Find N5, and hence the OnePlus Open 2, will get Qi wireless charging support

Oppo has confirmed that their new Find N5 foldable smartphone, which will be the basis for the OnePlus Open 2, will support Qi wireless charging. This will be a major update as the lack of wireless charging was a significant drawback of the previous OnePlus Open model.
Here's What We Know
Ahead of the February launch of the Oppo Find N5 in China, Oppo's product manager, Zhou Yibao, has been gradually revealing details about the device, including its incredibly thin body and improved water resistance. Yibao's new post on Weibo showed the Find N5 on wireless chargers in various cars, which was the deciding factor for including the technology in the device.
Oppo considered compromises such as increasing the thickness of the device, but the widespread adoption of wireless charging in cars was deemed indispensable. The Oppo Find N5 will be launched in February in China, while the OnePlus Open 2 is likely to hit the global market soon.
