Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are getting a new system update in the US

Samsung's latest Note series smartphones, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, have received a new update dated January 2025.
Here's What We Know
This security update is from January and it is available in the US for carrier-unlocked Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones, which have model numbers SM-N981U1 and SM-N986U1. The updates have firmware versions N981U1UESBHXL1 and N986U1UESBHXL1.
The new software from January contains a security patch that fixes 29 Android system vulnerabilities, 5 of which are critical, and 22 One UI vulnerabilities.
This update is expected to arrive for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and other regions in the coming days.
