Ryan Gosling may become the new hero of the Star Wars universe in the film directed by Deadpool & Wolverine

Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in a new standalone Star Wars film to be directed by Shawn Levy, known for his work on Deadpool Wolverine. It was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Here's What We Know
The project, which Levy has been working on since 2022, promises to be completely independent of the Skywalker saga. The script is written by Jonathan Tropper, who previously collaborated with the director on This Is Where I Leave You and The Adam Project.
The details of the film are still under wraps: we don't know what era it will be about or who exactly Gosling will play. The only thing that is confirmed is that it will be a standalone story that will not have sequels in the form of a trilogy.
