Another leak has surfaced on the internet, which leads to mixed thoughts about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim model. Here's What We Know
Initially, rumours about the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Slim generated a lot of interest, but as time passed and new leaks emerged, it became clear that the device might not live up to expectations. First came rumours of a delayed release until May, then it was revealed that the phone might not be available in many countries. Before that, there were reports of a possible reduction in battery size, and now it has been revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim may be equipped with a 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is inferior to the standard 8-core variant.
This processor should be more power efficient, which will help the device not overheat during heavy tasks, but it may not be as fast as the standard chip variant. Leaks also confirm that the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 7 foldable devices may get this chip too. While the 7-core Elite 8 is still a flagship chip, its reduced performance may cause disappointment among users.
The informant also indicated that the new version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is also designed for foldable devices and the first smartphone to get this chip will be just the new foldable flagship OPPO Find N5 (OnePlus Open 2 for the global market), which is expected to be released in February.
