Fiat became Stellantis best-selling brand for the fourth year in a row despite modest sales in the US

Fiat again topped sales among the 14 Stellantis Group brands in 2024, despite deliveries falling 11.11 per cent year-on-year in 2023 to more than 1.2 million units and very modest US sales figures.
Here's What We Know
In the US, Fiat's sales remained modest, with just 1,528 cars in 2024. In the European Union, EFTA (European Free Trade Association) and the UK, sales were also down 20.4 per cent to 304,066 units, including the Abarth brand. The Italian brand's main success came in Brazil, where more than 521,000 vehicles were sold, representing about 43.42% of Fiat's global deliveries in 2024. Fiat retained 20.9 per cent of the Brazilian market and the Strada pick-up truck was particularly popular there with 144,000 units sold.

In Italy, Fiat also led the way with sales of more than 190,000 vehicles and a market share of 10.8 per cent. The Panda model, which has been in production for 14 years, remains popular with over 102,000 units sold in 2024.
In Turkey, Fiat took the top spot with a market share of 11.2%, thanks to the success of the Egea/Tipo (over 84,000 units) and Fiorino (over 25,000 units) models. In Algeria, 64,000 vehicles were sold, including 27,000 Doblo commercials, giving Fiat 62% of the market.
A new Grande Panda is expected to enter the European market in 2025, followed by an updated 500 model with a hybrid engine in 2026. A seven-seat Giga Panda is also planned in the slightly more distant future.
