Emmy-winning actor Jon Bernthal has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming film adaptation of the classic Greek epic, directed by Christopher Nolan. It is reported by Deadline.

Universal Studios has officially announced that the film will be released on 17 July 2026 and will be shot using the unique IMAX technology. The film promises to be a large-scale action drama based on the ancient Greek epic Homer.

The cast already includes Matt Damon (likely to play Odysseus), Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o and Charlize Theron.
