Japanese hardcore is back: Ninja Gaiden 4 announced at Xbox Developer Direct - with PlatinumGames in charge of gameplay!
The Xbox Developer Direct show started with the presentation of that-same "secret game", and the rumours that promised a sequel to a certain legendary Japanese franchise have been fully confirmed.
Here's What We Know
At the Microsoft show Team Ninja studio and publisher Koei Tecmo announced Ninja Gaiden 4 - it will be a sequel to the cult action series, which set the trend for extremely complex and dynamic games.
Fans of brutal slashers can not help but be pleased with the fact that the development was connected to the famous Japanese studio PlatinumGames - authors of the cult Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Nier: Automata and Astral Chain. The style of the famous studio is visible in every frame: battles look extremely spectacular, dynamic and diverse, and gamers will have not only a huge number of combat skills, but also two completely different protagonists.
When We Can Expect It
Ninja Gaiden 4 will be released in autumn 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The game will be available immediately on Xbox Game Pass.
