A Samsung executive has revealed when we can expect the ultra-thin Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to be released

At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung, apart from the main Galaxy S25 lineup, also announced the Galaxy S25 Edge ultra-thin smartphone. Although no timeline for its launch was announced on stage, one of the company's executives revealed when we should expect the new product.
Here's What We Know
According to a Samsung executive, the Galaxy S25 Edge is scheduled to be released in April 2025. This is the first time since the launch of the Galaxy S10 that the Galaxy S series includes a fourth device without an FE/Lite version. To recall, the Galaxy S10 series included the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 5G.
The Galaxy S25 Edge was shown off to journalists at Samsung's event and as you can see from the photo below, this smartphone features a large Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a cutout for the front camera, a flat side frame and rounded corners. Only two cameras can be seen on the back of the smartphone, making it less powerful in terms of camera capabilities compared to the base model Galaxy S25.

The device is likely to be powered by a 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and is rumoured to be 6.4mm thick. The exact specifications and pricing of the Galaxy S25 Edge have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to come soon.
