Dragon's Den star Milly Alcock has officially begun filming as Kara Zor-El in the upcoming DC Studios film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

Here's What We Know

Filming is taking place at Leavesden Studios in London. DC Studios co-chairman James Gunn shared the first behind-the-scenes image, saying: "It's great to see the cameras rolling on Supergirl under the direction of Craig Gillespie and with the phenomenal Millie Alcock as our Kara Zor-El."

The film is an adaptation of the Supergirl comic book: Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. The script was written by Ana Nogueira and directed by Craig Gillespie.

The story follows the journey of Kara Zor-El, who helps galactic warrior Ruthye Marye Knoll in her quest to avenge her father's death. The film also stars Matthias Schoenaerts and Eve Ridley. Interestingly, Jason Momoa will return to the DC Universe as Lobo.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is scheduled for release on 26 June 2026. The film will be part of the new DC Cinematic Universe created by James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Thrilled to see cameras roll at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden on Supergirl, with Craig Gillespie at the helm and the phenomenal Milly Alcock as our Kara Zor-El.
