On 24 January 2025, Mad Mimic released Mark of the Deep. This pirate action adventure combines elements of Metroidvania and Souls-Like, offering players an exciting journey.

Here's What We Know

In Mark of the Deep, players will take on the role of a pirate nicknamed Rookie, who explores a mysterious island in search of the missing Angry Mermaids. On the way, players will face more than 80 types of enemies and 16 bosses, including abyssal monsters, the undead, and dangerous cultists. The game offers a non-linear world for exploration, where new abilities and weapons will help to open previously inaccessible areas.

The developers promise an in-depth character development system where players can customise skills and equipment to suit their playstyle. In addition, the decisions made will affect the plot, which will lead to different endings.
