The Vivo V50 smartphone, which was recently spotted on various certification platforms including IMEI, EEC, TDRA, NBTC and NCC, has now appeared on the SIRIM certification website.

Here's What We Know

The device with model number V2427 has been registered with type approval code RGQL/301/0125/S (24-6197). While the database doesn't provide much information about the smartphone, it points to its imminent launch in the Malaysian market.

Earlier leaks about the Vivo V50 revealed some details such as a 5,870mAh battery (possibly with a typical 6,000mAh capacity) and support for charging up to 90.2W. The smartphone will also be 160mm long and 75mm wide and will be available in three colours, Deep Blue, Grey and Shimmery White. Other specs include support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. The Vivo V50 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S20 launched in China in November 2024.
