Garmin has introduced a new update for the Fenix 8, Enduro 3 and Fenix E as part of its beta programme. The Beta Version 13.21 update is currently rolling out in phases and contains about twelve bug fixes, as well as several new features.

Here's What We Know

This update is the next step after version 13.18, which included more than 20 changes. The new version 13.21 is already available for 25% of the devices participating in the beta programme and will be rolled out over the next 24-48 hours. However, Garmin has not yet announced when the remaining 75% of users will be able to install the update.

In addition, the update includes three new features, including support for German and Spanish QWERTY keyboards. The English QWERTY keyboard has also been updated for smaller screens, such as the 43mm version of the Fenix 8.

Among the notable changes in Beta Version 13.21 are

  • Added a progress bar in the music selection list;
  • Added support for German and Spanish QWERTY keyboards;
  • Fixed an issue with an empty sensor search page;
  • Fixed duplicate images in smart notifications;
  • Fixed the issue with missing buttons on the number pad;
  • Updated QWERTY keyboard layout for smaller screens.

It is worth noting that the immersion and ECG features remain unavailable in Beta Version 13.21, so several more beta versions may be required before the stable update is released.
