Insider: all of Resident Evil 9's screen time will go to Leon Kennedy - Capcom has dropped a second protagonist
The new Resident Evil instalment is generating a lot of public interest. But since Capcom doesn't tell anything about the ninth part of the horror game, we can only rely on unofficial sources, and one of the main providers of rumours about Resident Evil 9 is a well-known insider Dusk Golem (AestheticGamer).
Here's What We Know
Previously, Dusk Golem often talked about Resident Evil 9 and one of his main theses was the statement that the game will have two main characters: public favourite Leon Kennedy and his occasional companion Jill Valentine - the heroine of several Resident Evil games.
However, now a whistleblower has shared another piece of information.
As it became known to Dusk Golem, earlier Capcom planned to give equal attention to Leon and Jill, but during the development of the game decided to abandon the role of the girl and give all screen time to the blonde agent.
Dusk Golem is sure that all rumours about Jill, which are going around in the network, are wrong and if she will appear in Resident Evil 9, it will be as a minor character.
The insider believes that the announcement of Resident Evil 9 should take place in the second half of 2025.
Wait for actual RE9 news, nearly every RE9 rumour that's been floated around has been bullshit.
