Mufasa: The Lion King brought in $626 million from cinemas for Disney, and the franchise has already generated more than $2 billion in total

The film shows how little Mufasa, orphaned after a terrible flood, finds refuge in a royal pride led by King Obasi and his son Taka. Together they go through numerous challenges, including threats from ruthless enemies.
