Turkey develops anti-drone combat module TRAKON

The Turkish company UNIROBOTICS has developed a remotely controlled combat module TRAKON, which is designed to counter UAVs and maritime drones. This was reported by Anadolu Agency.
Here's What We Know
The module is equipped with a 12.7×99 mm CANiK M2 QCB machine gun, an unnamed target detection radar and an optical station with a thermal imaging channel. It is capable of automatically tracking targets and calculating corrections to hit them.
During the test, TRAKON was able to shoot down a quadcopter at low speed and distance with a short burst.

UNIROBOTICS is part of the Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) group, which specialises in autonomous systems and robotics. CEO Omur Bach said that UNIROBOTICS will continue to develop high-tech solutions for the defence needs of Turkey and allied countries.
As a reminder, in November 2024, Ukraine commissioned the Tavria combat module equipped with a 14.5 mm KPVT machine gun. It is capable of automatically tracking targets, and its optoelectronic module can detect targets at a distance of more than 5 km day and night.
