Alan Wake 2 horror game from Remedy Entertainment was released in late 2023 and One of the best horror games ever made and a near-perfect game - critics were left in awe of Alan Wake 2, which is already available to gamers on all platforms and rave reviews from gamers. The game is still available on PC only in Epic Games Store and many people are wondering when it will appear on Steam, especially since the remaster of the first part is available in this shop since 2021.

Well, we know the answer, but it will upset many gamers.

Here's What We Know

The head of Epic Games, which was one of the main sponsors of Alan Wake II development, answered unequivocally: never.

Tim Sweeney recommended gamers not to even hope for the release of the horror game in Valve's shop - "it will forever remain an EGS exclusive".

Recall, despite the excellent reviews, sales of Alan Wake II are not very large by the standards of the modern game industry. As of the end of 2024, 2 million copies of the horror game were sold, which was "almost enough" to pay off the development, but critically little for a game of this level. Not least of all, such low sales are due precisely to the absence of the game on Steam. Surely this fact is upset Remedy and it is not excluded that the companies will someday come to an agreement to refuse exclusivity.

Note that the information surfaced from the correspondence of the gamer with Tim Sweeney and the businessman confirmed the authenticity of the information.
