New report reveals prices for Google Pixel 9a with 128GB and 256GB storage

According to a new report, Google is planning to increase the price of the 256GB version of the Pixel 9a when the smartphone is released this year.
Here's What We Know
It's only been a month since Android Headlines published a detailed list of Pixel 9a specs. However, since then, there hasn't been much new information about Google's new smartphone.
Android Headlines has returned to the topic of the Pixel 9a and released fresh details about its price in the US market. According to the website, the Pixel 9a will start at $499, which is the same starting price as the Pixel 8a. As with last year's model, the price includes 128GB of storage, as opposed to 64GB in the previous Pixel A series.
However, the Pixel 9a will be more expensive for the 256GB variant. Google is expected to price this variant at $599, which is $40 more than the similar Pixel 8a version (which currently costs $499 on Amazon). In Canada, the price will remain unchanged for the 128GB model at CAD 679, but the 256GB variant will go up by $50 to CAD 809.

The Pixel 9a is expected to be officially unveiled in the spring, possibly in March before Google I/O 2025. Although there are no official images of the smartphone yet, Roland Quandt published an image that could be the display design of the upcoming gadget. If this is true, we can assume that the Pixel 9a will have thinner bezels than its predecessor. However, it cannot be ruled out that this could be an image of the Pixel 9.
