Recently, it became known that Thought Pennies was working on a role-playing game in the Warhammer universe in collaboration with Games Workshop and Nexon. However, due to strategic changes at Nexon, the project was cancelled at the end of last year.

Here's What We Know

In 2021, Nexon and Games Workshop announced a partnership to create a new PvE social multiplayer project in the Warhammer universe.

The game was planned for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, with a focus on cooperative gameplay and character development. Players had to command the forces of the God King Sigmar and his allies in the fight against the forces of Chaos, restoring order in the devastated worlds.

Despite the successful cooperation and significant progress in development, Nexon decided to change its strategy, which led to the termination of the project.

The project itself was based on the popular board game Age of Sigmar, but we are unlikely to see it ever again.
