Samsung fans are creating petitions to get the company to bring Bluetooth functionality back to the S Pen stylus
The S Pen has always been a hallmark of Samsung's flagship phones. After discontinuing the Galaxy Note, Samsung included the stylus in the Galaxy S lineup and foldable devices, but for a long time it didn't make any changes to the S Pen. But this year, the company made the controversial decision to remove Bluetooth support from the S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Here's What We Know
The company decided to remove Bluetooth features this year, citing its data that less than 1% of users were using these features, such as remote camera control and mid-air gestures. However, this decision has caused discontent among fans of these features, who have been actively expressing their disappointment on social media and various forums.
One user even created a petition on Change.org demanding the return of Bluetooth features in the next Galaxy S26 Ultra model. While such petitions rarely result in real change, they do help bring attention to the issue.
Samsung has yet to officially respond to this petition, but the reaction from users shows that the company should consider its customers' opinions when developing new products.
