Acer launches Predator X27U X1 monitor in China: latest QD-OLED panel and HDR True Black support
Acer has updated its Predator X27U gaming monitor series and introduced a new model called the Predator X27U X1.
Here's What We Know
This monitor replaces the previous model and has an updated design, as well as a new panel from Samsung Display that uses QD-OLED technology. This provides high resolution and fast response.
The Predator X27U X1 is currently only available in China, where it is priced at RMB 2,999 (~$414). It features a panel that has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 110 PPI, which provides excellent image clarity. In addition, the monitor supports a 240Hz refresh rate and has a 0.03ms response time with GtG technology, which avoids image tearing during fast movements. The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology for improved frame synchronisation.
In addition, the QD-OLED panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space and reaches 400 nits of brightness when playing HDR content. With VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification, this monitor is a great choice for gamers looking for a high quality image.
The Predator X27U X1 has an adjustable stand that allows you to tilt, elevate and swivel the monitor. For those who wish to use a different stand, a 75 x 75mm VESA mount is available. The monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports, and has built-in speakers with a power of 5 watts each.
