Fans of retro games can rejoice: GOG has released updated versions of the cult survival horror games Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 for modern PCs. Both games are now available for download without DRM protection and with support for modern operating systems.

Here's What We Know

The original Dino Crisis, developed by Capcom under the leadership of Shinji Mikami, was first released on PlayStation in 1999. The game combined elements of survival horror with dynamic action, replacing traditional zombies with dangerous dinosaurs. In 2000, a sequel, Dino Crisis 2, was released, focusing on more active gameplay.

Updated versions from GOG include support for Windows 10 and 11, the ability to play in resolutions up to 4K, and compatibility with modern gamepads.

In addition, new options such as V-sync, gamma correction and anti-aliasing have been added to enhance the visual experience. Players can choose between the original game mode and the Arrange mode, as well as experience Operation Wipe Out, a mode that was previously exclusive to the PC version.

For those who want to dive into nostalgia or get reacquainted with these classic games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are already available for purchase as a bundle on GOG for $9.
