On 29 January 2025, the animated series Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man premiered on the Disney+ platform. This project offers a fresh take on Peter Parker's rise as a superhero, departing from the traditional story.
Here's What We Know
In the new series, Peter Parker, voiced by Hudson Thames, gains his powers and becomes Spider-Man under the mentorship of Norman Osborn, played by Colman Domingo. This differs from the classic version, where Peter's mentor was Tony Stark. The series combines modern elements with the classic comic book style of the 1960s.
The first season consists of 10 episodes, two of which are already available for viewing. New episodes will be released weekly until 19 February.
The series has already received 100% freshness from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and 78% from viewers.
