Google Sheets has received a new update that allows users to easily visualise and analyse data using analytics and graphs.
Here's What We Know
The updated Gemini dashboard can now not only summarise tables, but also provide useful information about trends, patterns, and relationships in the data.
With the new Analyse for Insights option, users can get a deeper analysis, and complex queries are automatically converted to Python code, which provides multi-level analytics.
It is also possible to generate graphs that can be inserted into tables as static images. Importantly, these graphs are not automatically updated when data changes, and you will need to create a new graph to make changes.

For the best results, Google recommends that you stick to a data format with clear headings and no missing values, and save files with up to 1 million cells.
These features will be useful for businesses. For example, marketers will be able to get a detailed analysis of campaign performance, small business owners will be able to make profit forecasts, and financial analysts will be able to identify problems in supply chains or unusual fluctuations in demand.
The update is available to Google One AI Premium users and Gemini Education subscribers.
