Google Photos has finally added a horizontal image flip feature that lets you fix mirrored selfies.
Here's What We Know
This option was announced back in September last year, but is now available to most Android users. However, it is currently unknown when a similar tool will be available on iOS.
Many users are familiar with the situation: you take a selfie with the front-facing camera and the image looks natural on your smartphone screen, but when you want to share it, it turns out that the text or other elements of the image appear as if in a mirror. This happens because most smartphones automatically flip the image on the screen, but when you save the photo, this change is not reflected.

Previously, to fix a mirrored image, users had to go to third-party apps or use other editing tools. With the new feature in Google Photos, you can now flip images directly in the app.
How To Switch It On
To do this, select a photo in Google Photos, click the edit button, go to the cropping tools, and find the flip button between the rotation and perspective correction options.
This feature was introduced to the Android platform after extensive testing and gradual rollout. Although Google doesn't give an exact timeline for iOS, it could take some time considering how long it took for it to appear on Android.
