Arrowhead is ready to support Helldivers 2 for at least 10 years if people keep playing it
CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, Shams Jorjani, assured fans of Helldivers 2 that the studio plans to support the game as long as it remains popular among players.

On the game's official Discord server, he said: "As long as people are playing, paying, and we can justify it from a business perspective, we will support it until the end." He also added: "If we can support it for 10 years, we will."
Helldivers 2, released in February 2024, was the biggest launch for a PlayStation Studios game on PC. As of May 2024, more than 12 million copies of the game have been sold, making it the fastest-selling PlayStation game ever.
Recently, it became known that the studio's creative director, Johan Pylestedt, is taking a sabbatical. However, Yordjani assured that this will not affect the development of the game, as the project is being led by Mikael Eriksson, who has been leading the team for the past few years.
