Tesla has officially confirmed plans to release more affordable electric car models in the first half of 2025. This was one of the big news during the presentation of the company's financial report. In addition, for the first time, Tesla's average cost of production has fallen below $35,000, indicating progress in reducing costs.

Here's What We Know

The electric car manufacturer did not reveal details about the new models, but emphasised that they will combine elements of both the current and future Tesla platform. This means that the new products will be produced on existing production lines along with the Model 3 and Model Y. This approach will allow the company to increase production volumes without significant investment in new plants.

What could these models be? There are rumours about the so-called Model Q - a compact electric car with a price starting at $30,000, which would make it the most affordable in Tesla's lineup. However, there is no official confirmation of this name yet.

In addition to the new models, Tesla continues to work on improving autopilot, which could be another key factor in the company's development.
