Media: Google's budget smartphone Pixel 9a will go on sale in the US at the end of March and will get four body colours

Android Headlines portal has revealed the US pre-order launch date for Google's new budget smartphone model, the Pixel 9a.

Here's What We Know

Usually such novelties are announced at the annual Google I/O event, which this year will be held in May, but this time the gadget will be released earlier.

Citing its own sources, Android Headlines reports that you can order the Pixel 9a will be available from 19 March, and the distribution of smartphones will begin on 26 March, then it will also appear in retail sales.

The Google Pixel 9a model with 128GB storage will reportedly cost $499, while the one with 256GB storage will cost $599. The model with mmWave support will be more expensive by $50.

The novelty will go on sale in four colours: Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony.

Earlier in the network appeared information that Google Pixel 9a will receive the largest battery capacity in the history of Pixel - 5 100 mAh. The display will have a diagonal of 6.28 inches, a resolution of 2424×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 2,700 cd/m².

The thickness of the smartphone body will remain the same as the previous models - 8.9 mm, but it will be slightly wider and longer, and there will be no cameras protruding on the rear surface.
