Film company Netflix has revealed the premiere date for the third season of the hit Korean series Squid Game.

As reported by insiders, the third season of Squid Game, which will be the final season, will be available to viewers from 27 June 2025. The authors complete the story of the main character Seong Gi-hun, who has already had a lot of trials.

Earlier, series creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk confirmed that the third season of "Squid Game" will not be the finale of the franchise. Netflix has big plans for the development of the universe and several projects are in development, including an American version of Squid Game from David Fincher.
Recall, "Squid Game" became the most successful series in the history of Netflix. It racked up more than 330 million views - that's nearly 2.8 billion hours and made Emmy Award history by winning six awards and becoming the first non-English project to be nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, with Lee Jung-Jae winning the award for Best Lead Actor - a first for an Asian actor for a non-English character.
