The Defence Ministry of Ukraine has approved the Zmiy Logistic unmanned ground system manufactured by Ukrainian producers for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

This robot has ballistic and mine protection and is designed to perform logistics and evacuation tasks in the combat zone. Due to its low height, the Logistic Snake remains invisible on the ground. It can carry several hundred kilograms of cargo or pull a trailer of the same weight.

According to Colonel Volodymyr Rochniak, Head of the Department, the robot's capacity is sufficient to evacuate the wounded, transport cargo, and tow light vehicles. If necessary, additional modules can be installed on it.

The complex is equipped with a silent electric motor and moves on metal wheels with wide tracks, which allows it to overcome off-road, rocky terrain, marshy areas and shallow water obstacles. It is controlled by the operator from a safe distance.
