The story of a ghost girl and her doll: the dark action-RPG Withering Realms has been announced
Moonless Formless studio has made an announcement that will please fans of creepy, dark and unusual games. The developer presented an action-RPG with horror elements Withering Realms, the events of which unfold in the universe of Withering Rooms.
Here's What We Know
The protagonist of this story will be a 9-year-old ghost girl Clover, who goes on a journey through the city of Penwyll.
The events of Withering Realms start in 1926, ten years after a supernatural cataclysm, and Clover wants to find out what happened.
In this she will be helped by a creepy-looking doll, which can be armed and equipped with various devices. Players will spend a lot of time in the cemetery, tombs and ruins, but sometimes the girl will stroll through the streets of the crowded city, which does not look frightening.
The developers will offer in Withering Realms a dynamic change of day and night, procedurally generated dungeons and the ability to re-visit locations at night.
You won't need to be familiar with Withering Rooms to understand the story and enjoy Withering Realms.
When We Can Expect It
Withering Realms is expected to release on Steam Early Access in autumn 2025, with other platforms to follow later.
